BREAKING POINT - Classic TV Shows

Breaking Point aired on ABC from 1963-1964 and was an hour medical drama which was a spinoff of a Ben Casey episode. The anthology dealt with psychiatry. Like Ben Casey, The Eleventh Hour, and Dr. Kildare on NBC, Breaking Point featured an older, experienced doctor and his younger understudy. It starred Paul Richards as Dr. McKinley Thompson, a resident in psychiatry at fictitious York Hospital. Eduard Franz co-starred as Dr. Edward Raymer, the hospital clinical director.

These hour long episodes were extremely well acted and had captivating story lines. Fourteen of the sixteen episodes are from the original 35mm films and feature the original commercials as they aired in the early 1960s. Picture and sound quality are a conservative 8 throughout. Some of these episodes even include the original 1960’s network commercials.
